Government set aside Php 23 billion for rice subsidy

QUEZON City, Philippines – The government will set aside Php 23 billion for rice subsidies for the beneficiaries of the conditional cash transfer (CCT). According to Budget Secretary Benjamin Diokno, this is in compliance with the orders of President Rodrigo Duterte made in his first State of the Nation Address. Unliquidated CCT Fund at half a billion

According to Congressman Maria Carmen Zamora, only half a billion pesos remain unliquidated in the Conditional Cash Transfer program.
