(Eagle News)–The number-coding scheme is lifted effective 3 p.m. today, Aug. 9. The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority made the announcement via Twitter, amid the inclement weather brought about by an enhanced southwest monsoon. Earlier, the Palace suspended work in government offices and classes in Metro Manila. The memorandum signed by Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea said the suspension was effective 3 p.m. The MMDA said the number-coding scheme, however, still applies in Makati.

MMDA suspends number-coding scheme for Labor Day
(Eagle News)—-The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority has suspended the implementation of the number-coding scheme for Tuesday, May 1. In an advisory, the MMDA said the suspension was in cognizance of Labor Day. The MMDA said the suspension applies to the entire Metro Manila including Makati.
