Number-coding scheme lifted effective 3 p.m. today

(Eagle News)–The number-coding scheme is lifted effective 3 p.m. today, Aug. 9.

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority made the announcement via Twitter, amid the inclement weather brought about by an enhanced southwest monsoon.

Earlier, the Palace suspended work in government offices and classes in Metro Manila.

The memorandum signed by Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea said the suspension was effective 3 p.m.

The MMDA said the number-coding scheme, however, still applies in Makati.
