The Civil Service Commission conducted an awarding ceremony to recognize government agencies who managed to cut bureaucratic red tape. Also recognized are media entities who have contributed to the success of the Anti-Red Tape Act. NET 25’s “Sa Ganang Mamamayan” is one of the TV programs to receive such recognition.
In a resolution dated September 8, 2014, the Civil Service Commission approved the implementation of the four-day work week scheme in government agencies in Metro Manila. This could be from Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday. From the former 8 hours of work a day, now it would be 10 hours a day.
