Police arrest 43 foreigners for kidnapping Singaporean woman

MANILA, Philippines (Reuters) —  The police said on Thursday (July 20) they had arrested 43 foreigners, mostly Chinese nationals, for kidnapping a Singaporean woman at a casino resort in the capital. KALIBO, Aklan (Eagle News) – Western Visayas remains the top destination for foreign tourists traveling to the country. According to the Department of Tourism (DOT) in Region 6, in the first six months alone, foreign tourist arrivals in the region have reached over 2 million.
