300 colleges and universities apply for tuition fee hike
Some 300 colleges and universities asked permission from the Commission on Higher Education to increase their tuition fees this coming school year. with the highest proposed increase at 11%. CHED targets to release a decision by May 16.
CHED, OK With 4 Day School-Week
The Commission on Higher Education said it was not against the proposal to reduce the number of school days to four. But according to CHED Chairperson Patricia Licuanan, careful study should be made before the implementation of the 4-day school week.
