(Eagle News) — Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation, and Unity Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. is the new secretary of the Department of National Defense. Eastmincom head is next AFP Chief of Staff

(Eagle News)–Lt. Gen. Benjamin Madrigal is the next Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the Philippines Madrigal, the commander of Eastern Mindanao Command  based in Davao City, will assume the post on December 12. He will replace Gen. Carlito Galvez, Jr., who is slated to reach the mandatory age of retirement.
