OFWs send lesser number of balikbayan boxes

There is a lower number of balikbayan boxes being sent to the country compared to the same period last year, considering that it is already near the holiday season. Earlier this year, the OFWs protested the proposed manual inspection of the Bureau of Customs (BOC) on said boxes in order to fight smuggling.
