Sen. Recto asks for Php 1K increase on BEI honoraria

MANILA, Philippines – Senator Ralph Recto asked the Commisison on Elections and the Department of Education to consider a Php 1000 increase on the honorarium to be received by the Board of Election Inspectors. COMELEC has gag order regarding voters receipt issue

MANILA, Philippines – The Chairman of the Commission on Elections, Andres Bautista, said that he cannot comment regarding the issue of the voters’ receipts because of the pending oral arguments with the Supreme Court.
