Suspect in deadly Isulan blasts killed in military, police operation

(Eagle News)–One of the suspects in the deadly Isulan, Sultan Kudarat blasts was killed in an operation by security forces on Saturday, Oct. 6. Killed was Norodin Taib, an alleged member of the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters. PNP: Communist groups may be behind explosions in Masbate, Sultan Kudarat

(Eagle News) — The Philippine National Police is looking at the possibility Communist groups were behind the recent explosions in Sultan Kudarat and in Masbate. In a press conference, PNP Spokesperson Senior Supt. Benigno Durana said this was based on evidence they found in the scenes.
