Almost six million voter’s ID cards remain unclaimed
The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) said that almost 6 million voter identification cards remain unclaimed all over the country. With this, COMELEC Chairman Andres Bautista encouraged the public to claim their voter’s ID that is now available at the local COMELEC offices nationwide. Environmental groups call for trash-free elections
With the start of filing of the certificate of candidacy (COC) yesterday, October 12, Ecowaste Coalition together with other environmental groups calls for 2016 candidates hold ‘green campaign’ for the national elections. COMELEC to temporarily suspend registration and biometrics validation

Several LP members plan to switch to Senator Poe’s camp
