(Eagle News) — Over 100 more COVID-19 cases were reported among police personnel.
The Philippine National Police said the additional 134 cases pushed the total PNP COVID-19 cases to 39,967.
Of these, 2023 were active.
Recoveries rose to 37826 with the addition of 195 recoveries.
The PNP COVID-19 death toll is now at 118, with the addition of one death.
More than half of the police force has been fully vaccinated, the PNP said.
PNP Chief Guillermo Eleazar received his first COVID-19 jab in June.
