POEA warns against recruitment scam

PASIG City, Philippines – The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration warned the public against an employment scam using the name of the Marriott Hotel. Said scam offers employment in Canada and United Kingdom through email and social media. The POEA added that legitimate companies don’t collect employment fees. LRT offers free rides to Philippine veterans

MANILA, Philippines – In commemoration of the Araw ng Kagitingan and the Philippine Veterans Week, The Light Rail Transit Authority will provide free rides in LRT Line 2 from Recto to Santolan to Philippine veterans from April 5 to 11. DPWH warns public against false officials

MANILA, Philippines – The Department of Public Works and Highways warned the public regarding against individuals misrepresenting themselves as DPWH officials to sell raffle tickets to raise funds for senior citizens. Beep card concessionaire plans widen reloading system

MANILA, Philippines – Beep card concessionaire AF Payments Inc., aims to widen its reloading and tap-and-go ticketing system to lessen the passenger queues.
