Several opposition lawmakers complain of “zero” allocation for infra projects in their districts in 2018 budget

(Eagle News) — Opposition lawmakers have complained of budget cuts in the newly passed national budget. In a statement, Albay Rep. Edcel Lagman said he and members of the  “Magnificent 7” were given “zero budget” for infrastructure funds. The opposition group includes Reps. Taxi driver allegedly hit by female motorist asks LTO to revoke her license

Bureau of Immigration deports 47 Koreans wanted for various crimes

QUEZON CITY, Philippines (Eagle News) — The Bureau of Immigration has deported 47 South Korean nationals wanted for various crimes in South Korea. Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente said that this is the first mass deportation done by the bureau.
