MMDA: Motorists who illegally park in M. Manila to be slapped higher fines starting today

(Eagle News)–Drivers or owners who illegally park their vehicles in Metro Manila can now expect higher fines. The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority said starting today, Wednesday,  Dec. 19, vehicles parked illegally will now pay  P1,000 from the original fine of P200. Those with unattended vehicles, meanwhile, will  pay P2,000 from the original P500. From P150, those obstructing the road will now have to pay a fine of P1,000.
