3.1-magnitude quake jolts Davao Oriental

(Eagle News)—A 3.1-magnitude earthquake struck Davao Oriental on Thursday, Feb. 21. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 141 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso at 3:31 a.m. The earthquake, which was of tectonic origin, had a depth of focus of nine kilometers. No damage nor aftershocks were expected.
