Seven seafarers acquitted of fuel smuggling in Libya arrive in PHL

(Eagle News)–The seven Filipino seafarers who were sentenced to prison for fuel smuggling in Libya but were later acquitted by the country’s high court are now in the Philippines. 3.9-magnitude quake jolts Davao Oriental

(Eagle News)–A 3.9-magnitude earthquake jolted Davao Oriental on Wednesday, March 13. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 51 kilometers east of Manay at 7:56 a.m. The quake, which was of tectonic origin, had a depth of focus of 21 kilometers. No damage nor aftershocks were expected.
