(Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Sur on Wednesday, May 1. The quake, which was an aftershock of the 5.5-magnitude quake that hit the province on April 26, struck 53 kilometers southeast of General Luna at 1:51 p.m., the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said. Depth of focus was 11 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were expected.
