3.8-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Sur

(Eagle News)–A 3.8-magnitude earthquake struck Surigao del Sur on Monday, Nov. 4. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 17 kilometers southeast of Marihatag at 7:52 a.m. Depth of focus was 35 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks are expected.
