5,538 pass Agriculturist Licensure Examination

(Eagle News)–Over 5000 passed the recently held Agriculturist Licensure Examination, the Professional Regulation Commission said. The 5538 represents 41.04 percent of the 13492 who took the exam in Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga this November. Orange rainfall warning hoisted over Santa Ana, Cagayan

(Eagle News)–An orange rainfall warning has been hoisted over a portion of Cagayan. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said flooding is threatening in flood-prone areas in Santa Ana in particular. A yellow warning level, on the other hand, is hoisted over Abulug, Ballesteros, Pamplona and Sanchez Mira. 4.0-magnitude quake hits Surigao del Sur

(Eagle News)–A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck off Surigao del Sur on Tuesday, Nov. 19. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake hit 82 kilometers northeast of Lingig at 8:39 a.m. Depth of focus was 1 kilometer. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
