4.0-magnitude quake hits Zamboanga del Norte

(Eagle News)–A 4.0-magnitude earthquake struck Zamboanga del Norte on Wednesday, Feb. 26. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 5:38 a.m., had its epicenter 44 kilometers southwest of Siocon. Depth of focus was one kilometer. An instrumental intensity I was recorded in Zamboanga City. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers as the easterlies affect the eastern section of the country.
