Israel’s educational technology to come to the PHL

MANILA – Educa Philippines 2015 is going to see for the first time Israel’s participation with a group of companies, including a major player in the field of educational technology.

The Economic and Trade Office of the Israel Embassy will participate in the 6th International Exhibition on Education, Continuous Learning and Corporate Training through equipment, information, methodology and technology on August 20 to 22, 2015 at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City.

Israel as a startup nation is one of the leading countries in educational technology with a very comprehensive range of solutions in distance learning and the sciences.

As part of the seminar series during the expo, Economic Attaché Doron Hemo will discuss the country’s smart solutions and innovative technologies in education on August 20, 1 p.m.

“Education has always been an important pillar in our nation’s vision which helped us to develop a thriving start-up ecosystem. Today, this innovative ecosystem is used in educating the next generation, thanks to our high educational technology,” Hemo said.

“Israel’s core technology enables us to profit from the content development, technology and pedagogy, professional development, and evaluation, coupled with our guiding values of professionalism, innovation and social responsibility,” he added.

The Embassy will be joined by three Israeli companies, namely Intelitek Inc., Educational Tourism to Israel (ETI) and Technokat Ltd.

Intelitek is a world-leading developer, producer and supplier of engineering and manufacturing technology training systems.

ETI offers specialized seminars to high school and university level students from East Asian countries, with interest in entrepreneurship, innovation, sustainability and leadership.

Technokat’s educational programs facilitate the acquisition of scientific principles through ‘hands-on’ activities. (Eagle News Service/Embassy of Israel)
