(Eagle News) — Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church Of Christ) members in South Dakota held their Worldwide Walk to Fight Poverty at the foot of Mt. Rushmore, one of the more than 300 sites of the global charity walk to help poor communities in Africa.

Young and old, the participants walked the 1.6 kilometers designated at the walk site, holding banners and flags, at the foot of one of the iconic symbols of the United States.
