Brgy. Ginebra San Miguel is now on its way to the Philippine Cup semi-finals after beating the Alaska Aces.

L.A Tenorio led the Gin Kings with 31 points, while Aljon Mariano helped out with 20 of his own.

The Aces were leading until the first half, but the Gin Kings rallied at the third with an 8-0 run.

The win books the team a semi-finals match against the Star Hotshots.

In accordance to the upcoming Manila Clasico, Gin Kings’ Tenorio said that the team should not be complacent, because aside from the San Miguel beermen, the Hotshots are also on fire.

Tenorio hopes for Ginebra’s young gunners Scottie Thompson, Kevin Ferrer, and Aljon Mariano to step up.

A heated matchup is expected on the best-of-seven semi-finals between the rival teams that will draw first blood tomorrow at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
