Davao Vice Mayor Duterte arrives at Senate

(Eagle News) — Davao Vice Mayor Paolo Duterte has arrived at the Senate.

The presidential son was seen in the premises past 9:30 a.m.

He is currently being held outside the plenary.

He and his brother in law Mans Carpio were invited by the Senate blue ribbon committee to shed light on the entry of a P6.4-billion drug shipment via Customs express lanes in the country in May.

This was after fixer Mark Taguba claimed in a hearing that they were behind the so-called Davao Group that deals with corrupt Customs officials and employees.

They have denied the allegations.

President Duterte on Wednesday urged his son and son in law to tell the truth in the Senate hearing.
