(Eagle News) — The Department of Transportation has ordered the suspension of three Private Emission Testing Centers (PETC) for alleged falsification of emission test results. Magnitude 3.3 quake rocks Jomalig, Quezon

(Eagle News) — A magnitude 3.3 quake jolted the town of Jomalig in Quezon province on Wednesday morning. The quake’s epicenter was recorded at 65 kilometers north east of Jomalig, Quezon around 4:13 AM. (Eagle News) — Malacanang has declared Aug. 20 a special non-working day in Lucena City, Quezon. The declaration–done in celebration of the city’s Charter Day anniversary–was done via Proclamation No. 554 signed by Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea. “..It is but fitting and proper that people of Lucena City be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies,” the proclamation read.
