PAGASA: Typhoon “Jebi” may enter PAR on Sunday night but “no significant enhancement” of southwest monsoon expected

(Eagle News)—-Another typhoon may enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Sunday, Sept. 2, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said. PAGASA said, however, that “Jebi,” whose eye was seen 1815 kilometers east of extreme northern Luzon as of 11 a.m.,  poses no direct threat to any part of the country. It said “no significant enhancement of the southwest monsoon” was also expected. “Jebi” may exit PAR on Monday morning.

National gov’t debt at P7.043 trillion in end-July
