PHL adds golds to SEA Games medal tally after wins in dancesport

(Eagle News)–The Philippines added   golds to its medal tally on Sunday, Dec. 1, with wins in different categories in the dancesport event. Mark Jayson Gayon and partner May Joy Renigen took home the gold in the Standard Waltz and Slow Foxtrot categories. Sean Mischa Aranar and Ana Leonila Nualla, on the other hand, dominated the Viennese Waltz and Tango events. With their wins, the Philippines’ gold medal tally rises to seven.      

PHL defeats Indonesia in prelims of women’s sepak takraw event

(Eagle News)–The Philippines defeated Indonesia in the preliminary round of the women’s sepak takraw event in Subic on Sunday, Dec. 1. The final score was 670-660.
