Malampaya fund scam probe

The Senate’s probe on the Malampaya fund scam probe was once again postponed. According to Committee Chairman Senator Teofisto Guingona III, the postponement was issued due to COA Chairman Grace Pullido-Tan’s letter saying that she cannot attend the scheduled hearing due to her leave while COA Special Audit Chief Susan Garcia is on an official mission.

The Senate proposed a bill that aims to promote agricultural education and to promote “agri-preneurship”. Senate Bill 2384 or Entrepreneurial Agricultural Education Act proposed by Senator Sonny Angara aims to create training programs for agricultural entrepreneurship, especially in rural areas.
