The Bureau of Food and Drugs (BFAD) issued a recall order on some eye drop products due to a statement of non-compliance with good manufacturing practice issued by the Italian manufacturer of the active ingredient present in said eye drop.

5.7 magnitude quake hits Antique

MANILA, Philippines (ENS) — A 5.7 magnitude quake hit Antique at 4:05 Friday afternoon, Oct. 3, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported. The quake’s epicenter was located five kilometers southeast of Culasi, Antique with a depth of 13 kilometers. Ombudsman indicts 4 former solons, other officials, for PDAF misuse

MANILA, Philippines (ENS) — The Office of the Ombudsman found probable cause to indict four former congressmen for misusing Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) worth P244.29 million, using non-government organizations connected to businesswoman Janet Lim Napoles.
