Cedric Lee, Deniece Cornejo, dismayed over DOJ decision

Denice Cornejo and Cedric Lee are dismayed about the decision of the Department of Justice. According to the legal counsel of Cornejo and Lee, they should have been given the chance to be heard by the Prosecutor’s Office regarding the case they filed against TV Personality and Actor Vhong Navarro.

Case Regarding Rice Smugglers

The Secretary of the Philippine Department of Justice Leila De Lima, is infuriated with the comment made by Duterte regarding the smuggling case. She commented that although the investigation is a bit slow, it is because they wanted to iron the kinks in the cases so it will be hard to run from the case filed.

Bus on Fire on SLEX

At around six in the morning, a bus was on fire on the South Luzon Express or SLEX. The location of the said bus on fire was near Alabang, Muntinlupa.

7 Oil Companies raise oil prices

7 major oil companies in the country raised its oil prices together at around six in the morning. This price hike includes a P0.25 for diesel and P0.10 for gasoline. This is the second week that the 7 major oil companies have raised the prices.

DOJ to consolidate raps in Navarro-Cornejo case

According to Prosecutor General Claro Arellano, The Department of Justice is consolidating the case filed by actor-TV host, Vhong Navarro, against the group that assaulted him and the rape case filed by Denise Cornejo against him. The DOJ Panel of Prosecutors simultaneously resolved both complaints to speed up the preliminary investigation and to avoid conflicting findings.
