The Supreme Court summons an employee tagged as “Ma’am Arlene” which is allegedly influential in the judiciary. The high court, particularly the ad hoc committee headed by Associate Justice Marvic Leonen, has issued the summons to Arlene Angeles Lerma in her last known address. But the Bureau of Immigration said that a certain Arlene Angeles Lerma has already left the country for Singapore in October last year.
A suspected extortionist was arrested and faces multiple charges. The suspect is identified as Mark Ryan Sumulong who posed as a secretary at the Office of the President for Special Concerns. He reportedly asked for large sums of money from his victims in exchange for juicy positions in government. MANILA, March 21 (PNA) — A 4.5-magnitude earthquake jolted the province of Agusan del Sur on Friday afternoon, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
