NGCP cannot ensure electric supply on election day

Protests set for Health Workers’ Day

Wong returns money to AMLC and BSP

QUEZON City, Philippines – Casino junket operator Kim Wong once again returned money to the Anti-Money Laundering Council and the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. Wong returned Php 250 million which is part of the Php 450 million that Wong promised to return. This is the fourth time that Wong returned money in order to recover the $81 million stolen from the Bangladesh Central Bank.

Manual canvassing for President and Vice President

QUEZON City, Philippines – According to House of Representatives majority leader Neptali Gonzales, the canvassing of the votes for the President and Vice-President may resort to manual canvassing due to the fact that the machines to be used in the Congress are still not programmed to read provincial and city certificate of canvass.

COMELEC sets 4,000 polling centers for PWDs

QUEZON City, Philippines – Based on the data of the Commission on Elections, there are 318,000 active voters who are classified as persons with disabilities.
