Fire hits Valenzuela cargo firm

(Eagle News)–A fire broke out in a cargo company in Valenzuela on Saturday, March 2. The Bureau of Fire Protection said the blaze hit the Aquair Cargo Movers Co. in Barangay Ugong at 4:22 p.m. The fire reached the second alarm. It was put out at past 5 p.m. Authorities have yet to determine the cause of the blaze. There were no reported casualties.

One hurt after fire hits residential building in Manila

(Eagle News)–One person was hurt after a fire hit a residential building in Manila early Saturday, March 2. Authorities said Johnson Ong was hurt in the blaze that hit the building at the corner of Craig Street and España Boulevard in Sampaloc before 5 a.m. The blaze only reached the first alarm. It was put out at 4:45 a.m. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the blaze.

Road reblocking and repair set along C5, Edsa
