Duterte sacks Labor Undersecretary Maglunsod

(Eagle News)–President Rodrigo Duterte has fired Labor Undersecretary Joel Maglunsod. A report said this was due to his alleged failure to put a stop to several labor strikes. Duterte made the announcement as he spoke to rebel-returnees in Catarman on Tuesday, Oct. 2. Maglunsod was one of several leftists Duterte included in his Cabinet.
