Duterte arrives in Singapore for ASEAN Summit

(Eagle News)–President Rodrigo Duterte has arrived in Singapore for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations Summit and Related Summits. The event in which the President is expected to meet Asean leaders will last for three days. On Thursday, the President is slated to leave for Port Moresby in Papua New Guinea for the Asia-Pacific Economic Forum.    

New Special Assistant to the President named

(Eagle News)—President Rodrigo Duterte has named an officer in charge of the Office of the Special Assistant to the President. Undersecretary Jesus Melchor Quitain, who was administrator of Davao when Duterte was the city mayor, will replace Bong Go temporarily, based on a memorandum signed by Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea. Lapeña charged with graft over 105 missing containers from Customs bureau
