National Privacy Commission probes Cebuana Lhuillier data breach

De Lima calls for probe into “passport data breach” at DFA

(Eagle News)—-Senator Leila de Lima has called for a probe into the “passport data breach” at the Department of Foreign Affairs. “The right to privacy is a fundamental human right and is central to the protection of human dignity. SM Group founder Henry Sy Sr. passes away

(Eagle News)—SM Group founder Henry Sy Sr. has passed away. He was 94 years old. An SM Group statement sent to the media said Sy passed away peacefully in his sleep early Saturday morning. “There are no details available as of the moment,” it said. Sy was also the chairman emeritus of SM Prime Holdings Inc., BDO Unibank Inc. and SM Development Corporation, and Highlands Prime Inc. He was also honorary chair of China Banking Corporation.
