PRC: 1,120 of 1,990 takers pass board exams for architects

(Eagle News) — Over 1,000 passed the Architect Licensure Examinations in January, the Professional Regulation Commission announced on Wednesday, Jan. 30. According to the PRC, the 1,120 who passed the exams in  Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Legazpi and Zamboanga on January 25 and 27 represent over 50 percent of the  1,990 who took the tests. PHL improves ranking in 2018 corruption index

(Eagle News)—The Philippines’ ranking in the Corruption Perception Index 2018 has improved, with the country moving up 12 notches. Transparency International said  the Philippines ranks 99th out of 180 countries, with a score of 36, or two points more than the 34 it got in 2017. The country shares the spot with Albania, Bahrain, Colombia, Tanzania and Thailand.
