Mocha Uson’s party-list gets Duterte endorsement

(Eagle News)—President Rodrigo Duterte has endorsed the party-list of former  Assistant Communications Secretary Mocha Uson. Duterte made the endorsement of Uson’s AA-Kasosyo during an event in Cebu on Sunday, Feb. 24. Uson resigned from her post at the Communications department to pursue her bid for a seat in the House of Representatives. MMDA: No number coding in Metro Manila today, Feb. 25

(Eagle News)–The number-coding scheme in Metro Manila is suspended today, Monday, Feb. 25. The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority made the announcement in a Tweet on the same day. The MMDA said the suspension was to give way to celebrations for the People Power anniversary. In line with this, the MMDA said the lane on Edsa in front of the People Power monument will be closed from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. today.

(Eagle News)–No Filipinos were aboard the Biman Bangladesh flight which one man had attempted to hijack. This is according to the Department of Foreign Affairs that issued a statement on Sunday, Feb. 24. One man was arrested after he allegedly took out a gun after the plane took off from Chittagong in Bangladesh to Dubai. The plane, Flight BG-147, managed to turn around and return to the Chattogram airport, where all 142 passengers were evacuated.
