3.0-magnitude quake hits Occidental Mindoro

(Eagle News)–A 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck Occidental Mindoro on Sunday, Aug. 11. The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, of tectonic origin, hit 27 kilometers southwest of Looc at 5:10 a.m. Depth of focus was 24 kilometers. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.
