The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which hit at 9:07 a.m. , had its epicenter 3 kilometers southwest of Laurel. It had a depth of focus of 7 kilometers. An instrumental intensity I was recorded in Tagaytay City. No damage to property nor aftershocks were recorded.

The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the quake, which struck at 11:56 p.m., had its epicenter 7 kilometers northeast of Agoncillo. Depth of focus was 8 kilometers.
