MIAA releases list of operational commercial flights for Monday, Nov. 2

(Eagle News)–The Manila International Airport Authority has released its list of operational commercial flights for Monday, Nov. 2: Flight schedules may be subject to changes. On Saturday, MIAA announced the 24-hour shutdown of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in anticipation of “Rolly,” which brought heavy rains and winds to parts of the country, including to Metro Manila. The temporary shutdown, which started at 10 a.m. on Sunday, ends today, also at 10 a.m.

TS “Siony” slightly weakens as it moves over PHL Sea

COVID-19 cases in PHL reach 383,113; 17,727 more recover

(Eagle News)–COVID-19 cases in the country breached the 383,000 mark on Sunday, Nov. 1, after the Department of Health reported over 2000 more cases. The DOH said of the 383113 total cases, 27115 or 7.1 percent were active. Of these, 81.6 percent were mild, 9.9 percent asymptomatic, 5.4 percent critical, and 3.1 percent severe. PNP reports 93 more COVID-19 recoveries

(Eagle News)–Ninety-three more police personnel have recovered from COVID-19. With the additional recoveries, the PNP said the recovery tally rose to 6667. Thirty-six more cases, however, pushed the total to 7220. Of these, 530 were active. One more death pushed the death toll to 23. (Eagle News)–Seventeen more overseas Filipinos have recovered from COVID-19. The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said with the additional recoveries, the total rose to 7279. Five new COVID-19 cases, however, pushed the total to 11244. There was no death reported, which means the death toll remains at 817. So far, the Middle East and Africa are still the regions with the most COVID-19 cases, deaths and recoveries, with 7380, 532, and 4542, respectively. […]
