PNP coordinates with DOJ regarding cases against mayors and police personnel

QUEZON City, Philippines – The Philippine National Police is coordinating with the Department of Justice for possible cases to be filed against the 25 mayors and 32 police personnel who surrendered in Camp Crame. The PNP added that it may start inquest proceedings on those that surrendered once there is a finding of probable cause. QUEZON City, Philippines – Supreme Court Chief Justice Ma. Lourdes Sereno sent a letter to President Rodrigo Duterte regarding the names of judges allegedly involved in the illegal drug trade. The letter was sent by the Chief Justice through Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre. The contents of the letter were publicized pending the approval of Chief Justice Sereno and President Duterte.

Central Visayas number 2 drug lord surrenders

QUEZON City, Philippines – Acknowledged as Central Visayas’ Number Two Drug Lord Franz Sabalones surrendered to Philippine National Police Director General Ronald Dela Rosa.
