4.4-magnitude quake jolts Antique

ANINI-Y, Antique (Eagle News) – A magnitude-4.4 earthquake shook Antique on Wednesday morning, July 26. According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), the center of the quake was recorded at 37 kilometers southeast of Anini-y, Antique. It is tectonic in origin and has a depth of eight kilometers. Intensity 2 was recorded in San Jose de Buenavista, the capital of Antique.  The quake was also felt in Iloilo.
