At least one confirmed dead in QC fire

(Eagle News) — One person has been confirmed dead in the fire that struck a residential area in Quezon City on Friday. Authorities said the victim was a 67-year-old. They, have, however, yet to release a name. The fire that struck the residential area on Calamba St.,  Talayan Village before lunchtime, has reached the fifth alarm. Senator Honasan posts bail in Binan, Laguna court

Authorities announce presidential press passes for qualified bloggers

Bloggers and other social media “influencers” who have more than 5,000 followers will be eligible for official press passes to cover Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte, his aides said Thursday.
