LAS VEGAS, Nevada (Reuters) — CinemaCon in Las Vegas allows the Hollywood studios to showcase some of their upcoming releases to both industry and press.

On Wednesday (March 29), Warner Bros brought out its big stars and films for the coming year, which included the DC comic book adaptation of ‘Wonder Woman’, the Guy Ritchie directed ‘King Arthur: Legend of the Sword’ and ‘Blade Runner 2049’.

The eagerly anticipated ‘Blade Runner’ sequel was presented at CinemaCon both by Warner Bros on Wednesday but also by Sony Pictures on Monday (March 27), when Ryan Gosling turned out to talk about the film. The film is co-produced by both studios, but Warner Bros has the rights for the film domestically in the United States whereas Sony has the rights in other territories.

Other highlights of their upcoming slate included the third Lego film ‘The Lego Ninjago Movie’, which sees a father and son battle it out with martial arts and of course, toy bricks. Also trailed at the convention was the comedy road trip film ‘Bastards’ about two brothers searching for their real father and thriller ‘Unforgettable’, which pitches a newly engaged woman (Rosario Dawson) against her fiance’s deranged ex-wife (Katherine Heigl).

‘Unforgettable’ will be released first out of the slate on April 21. The last to get a release will be ‘Bastards’ on December 22.
