Updated: Villar, Poe, Go continue to top senate race; no LP bets still in top 12 as of Comelec’s latest partial unofficial results

(Eagle News) — Senators Cynthia Villar and Grace Poe continued to top the senatorial race, followed by former Special Assistant to the President Christopher “Bong” Go in the latest unofficial and partial returns of the Commission on Elections.

Still, no one from the Liberal party’s “Otso Diretso” senatorial slate managed to get in as of the partial Comelec results of 2:50 p.m., Tuesday, May 14, 2018.

Villar got 24,463,539 votes topping the list, Poe got 21,385,655 votes, while Go was a strong third at 19,835,271 votes.

The other senatorial bets who managed to get into the top 12 are Pia Cayetano (NP) 19,120,515 votes; Rolando “Bato” dela Rosa (PDPLBN) 18,228,049 votes; Edgardo “Sonny” Angara (LDP) 17,588,135 votes; Lito Lapid (NPC) 16,445,145 votes; Imee Marcos (NP) 15,348,865 votes; Francis Tolentino (PDPLBN) 14,929,483 votes; Ramon “Bong” Revila Jr., (LAKAS) 14,141,793 votes; Koko Pimentel (PDPLBN) 14,129,736; and lastly Nancy Binay (UNA) 14,105,239 votes.
