MILWAUKEE, United States (Reuters) – United States President Donald Trump on Tuesday (June 13) blamed democrats for the suffering of “millions of American families.”

Trump arrived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin along with two couples who Trump said were unhappy with the rising cost of their healthcare payments and suffered under the “crushing burden of Obamacare.”

Trump accused Congressional Democrats of obstructing Republican efforts to create a new healthcare plan.

“The Democrats have let you down big league.”

“Obamacare is one of the greatest catastrophes that our country has signed into law and the victims are innocent, hard-working Americans,” the president said.

Earlier in the day, Trump hosted 13 Republican senators for lunch at the White House in a bid to help the lawmakers find common ground to move forward with healthcare reform legislation this summer.
