Tesda unveils new app for its job-seeking graduates

(Eagle News)–The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority on Tuesday, July 30, launched a new application that will serve as an online database of jobs for Tesda graduates.

According to Tesda, the free application 911 Tesda will also serve as a platform for individuals who wish to avail of the services of Tesda graduates.

Tesda graduates and certified workers need to be accredited by the digital online service providers for them to be included in the application.

The agency said Tesda graduates have the option to work part-time or full-time.

“When the app is tapped for service, the DOSP would look for the registered worker nearest the area or vicinity,” Tesda said.

President Rodrigo Duterte led the launch of the app, which covers the whole of Metro Manila initially.

Tesda plans  to expand coverage of the app to include the entire country.

“The age of innovation is here,” Duterte said.
