(Eagle News) — The taxi driver who was allegedly slapped by a motorist during a traffic altercation in Quezon City is set to file charges against her.

Virgilio Doktor, who went to the Land Transportation Franchising Regulatory Board on Monday, said the charges for damage to property and physical injuries would be filed against the woman, whose identity has not yet been released.

According to Doktor, the woman, who was driving a blue Honda City, slapped him and destroyed his taxi’s sideview mirror after their vehicles almost bumped against each other on Sunday morning on Congressional Avenue, Project 8.

Doktor  said prior to this incident, he rolled down his window to apologize to the woman.

The incident was caught on camera held by a netizen at that time.

The Land Transportation Office said based on their initial investigation, the Honda City’s registration has already expired.
